The Central Unit or Territorial Branch of Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals, observing the legal provisions in force.
The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before this period expires, a single extension can be granted, following a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiration of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and after on-site verification.
The extension of the approval will bear a different registration number from the ANIF approval issuance register and is granted for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, further extensions of the approval validity are not possible, and the applicant must obtain another ANIF approval, as per the law.
