Commercial fishing license - represents an official document that grants its holder the right, as determined by national regulations, to use a certain fishing capacity for the commercial exploitation of living aquatic resources and contains the minimum requirements regarding the identification, technical characteristics, and equipment of a fishing vessel from the European Union.

The commercial fishing permit is an individual and non-transferable document that is validated annually.
