Recognition by Adventus University in Cernica of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad*
The procedure establishes the manner in which, at the request of the data subjects, Adventus University in Cernica (UA) recognizes the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field obtained at:
a) accredited higher education or research and development institutions from an EU member state, the EEA, and the EC;
b) accredited higher education or research and development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, approved by Order no. 5462/2018 and updated periodically;
c) accredited higher education or research and development institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level.
The procedure applies to:
a) Romanian citizens;
b) citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, from the Swiss Confederation;
c) citizens from third countries.
The recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained abroad based on this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:
a) occupying vacant teaching positions for a determined period, as an associate faculty member;
b) participating in a competition for the occupation of a vacant teaching or research position within UA – with employment for an indefinite period;
c) enrollment in postgraduate programs;
d) obtaining habilitation.
*Automatic recognition by Adventus University in Cernica of teaching positions in higher education obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad*
The procedure establishes the rules and instructions by which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by the Adventus University in Cernica (UA) of the academic teaching positions obtained in:
a) accredited higher education institutions from the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;
b) prestigious universities from other countries included in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, approved by order of the relevant minister and periodically updated (Order no. 5462/2018);
c) other accredited higher education institutions abroad, other than those mentioned, only on the basis of an international agreement of mutual recognition, concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.
The procedure applies to:
a) Romanian citizens;
b) citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;
c) citizens from third countries.
The recognition of the teaching position based on this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the level of Adventus University and is carried out for the purpose of:
a) occupying, for a determined period, vacant teaching positions as an associate teaching staff member;
b) participating in a competition for occupying a vacant teaching position within UA – with employment for an undetermined period;
c) participating in the competition commissions for filling vacant teaching and research positions within UA.
*Automatic recognition by Adventus University in Cernica of the quality of doctoral supervisor or habilitation obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad*
Procedure establishes the manner in which, at the request of the data subjects, the automatic recognition by Adventus University of Cernica (AU) is carried out for the status of doctoral advisor or habilitation, obtained at:
a) accredited higher education institutions from a member state of the EU, EEA, or Switzerland;
b) accredited higher education institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other states, approved by Order no. 5462/2018 and periodically updated;
c) accredited higher education institutions that are the subject of an international mutual recognition agreement concluded at intergovernmental or interuniversity level.
Other situations not mentioned above do not fall under AU's competence and are subject to recognition and equivalence by CNRED.
The procedure applies to:
a) Romanian citizens;
b) citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation;
c) citizens of third countries.
Recognition of the status of doctoral advisor/habilitation based on this procedure is valid and produces legal effects only at the Adventus University level and is carried out for the purpose of:
a) participation in competition commissions for occupying teaching and research positions within AU;
b) participation in a competition for occupying a vacant teaching position within AU – with indefinite employment;
c) occupying a teaching position as an associate teaching staff.
