The procedure describes:

Reception extension of water/sewer pipe - legal entities*

The procedure includes the necessary documents for the reception of water supply and sewerage works in the area managed by Compania de Apă Someș S.A. in Cluj and Sălaj counties.

The documents can be submitted:

- online on the platform MyCAS after creating an account in the application or

- physically at the customer interface points of Compania de Apă Someș in Cluj-Napoca, Zalău, Dej, Gherla, Huedin.

After submitting the documentation and its approval by the water operator, the on-site reception of the work is scheduled, after which a work reception document is issued.

Types of works:

- water and sewer pipeline extension;

- water pipeline extension and water connection;

- sewer network extension;

- water pumping station;

- sewer pumping station;

Water/sewer project handover*

The procedure includes the documents required for the reception of water supply and sewerage works in the area managed by Compania de Apă Someș S.A. in Cluj and Sălaj counties.

Documents can be submitted:

- online on the platform MyCAS after creating an account in the application or

- physically at the customer interface points of Compania de Apă Someș in Cluj-Napoca, Zalău, Dej, Gherla, Huedin.

After submitting the documentation and its approval by the water operator, the reception of the work on site is scheduled, after which a work reception document is issued.

Request for paid services*

The procedure describes the steps to be followed in the case of requests by third parties for services performed by Compania de Apă Someș, for a fee.

Compania de Apă Someș S.A. carries out interventions on internal networks within its capabilities, after fulfilling the obligations regarding the maintenance of the public water supply and sewerage infrastructure under its administration.

Wastewater analysis*

The procedure describes the steps to be followed for performing physico-chemical analyses of wastewater.

The laboratory of Somes Water Company S.A. is located in Cluj-Napoca, within the Wastewater Treatment Plant premises.

After the request is approved, the water sample can be collected by the personnel of Somes Water Company S.A. (if the address of the wastewater source is within the area served by Somes Water Company S.A.) or it can be presented at the Laboratory headquarters after consulting with them regarding the sampling procedure.

Drinking water analysis*

The procedure describes the steps to be followed for conducting physico-chemical analyses of water that comes from a source other than those used by Compania de Apă Someș to supply water to its customers.

The laboratory of Compania de Apă Someș S.A. is located in Gilău, within the premises of the Water Treatment Plant.

The analysis of the water sample is carried out based on an express request from the applicant by filling out a predefined form which also contains the fees.

After the request is approved, the water sample can be collected by the personnel of Compania de Apă Someș S.A. (if the address of the water source is within the area served by Compania de Apă Someș S.A.) or can be brought by the applicant to the Laboratory’s headquarters after consulting with the Laboratory regarding the sampling procedure.
