Procedure regarding the online issuance, through the Single Electronic Contact Point (PCUe), of documents certifying the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse for professional recognition*
In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of Generalist Nurses, Midwives, and Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualification titles of generalist nurse, midwife, and nurse, in other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting Romanian qualification titles of generalist nurse, midwife, and nurse, in other EU Member States consist of drafting and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and Council from September 7, 2005 regarding the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and completions. Where applicable, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
The online applications for issuing the documents necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian qualifications, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted through PCUe to the county branch/ Municipality of Bucharest branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired the membership of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch within the territorial jurisdiction of their domicile.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or if the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not meet the deadline, upon its expiry, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR to which they submitted the electronic file.
