In accordance with HG899/2003, with subsequent amendments and additions, and OMTI 3850/2024, with subsequent amendments and additions, RAR issues the technical operating authorization for economic operators carrying out activities of installation, repair, or inspection of tachographs used in road transport or speed limiters fitted to vehicles, based on a technical capability audit conducted at each of the applicant's workshops. This procedure describes how RAR processes the files submitted by legal entities for authorization, until the time the audit date is established by mutual agreement with the applicant.

The dissatisfied authorization applicant may use the remedies provided in common law.
