The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money", through which it provides financial support to students from high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

Beneficiaries are students under the care of families whose monthly gross income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to the submission of the file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or are under guardianship or curatorship, provided the above-mentioned income condition is met.

The documents will be submitted as copies, provided that, upon submission of the application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, throughout the duration of the courses, if all legal conditions are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
Besides the indexation of this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum amount for granting the scholarship was also increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the necessity to correlate the granting threshold with the current economic situation.
