The Ministry of Education has been running the national social protection program "High School Money" for over 12 years, through which financial support is granted to students from high schools and art and craft schools.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

The beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose gross monthly income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to the application submission, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or are under guardianship or curatorship in case the income condition mentioned above is respected.

The documents shall be submitted in copy, provided that, at the time of application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (attached), starting from the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, if all legal conditions provided are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
Besides indexing this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum ceiling for granting the scholarship has also been increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/per family member, considering the need to correlate the support ceiling with the current economic situation.
