The application is submitted, after the end of the maternity leave (with a mandatory minimum of 42 days from the birth), within 60 working days.
In the case of Authorized Natural Persons (PFA):
- Certificate from the Health Insurance House (C.A.S) stating the period for which the maternity allowance (pregnancy + confinement) was paid or a declaration on own responsibility stating that the maternity allowance was not received
- Certificates from the Caraș-Severin Public Finance Administration proving the income earned in the last 2 fiscal years prior to the child's birth date or, if applicable, proof of the income calculated for the advance payment of tax;
- Taxation decisions from the Public Finance Administration for the last 2 fiscal years prior to the child's birth indicating the start date of the activity,
- Unique Declaration, for the last 2 fiscal years prior to the child's birth date.
- The decision to suspend or end the activity, declaration 070, from the Caraș-Severin Public Finance Administration;
For students, college graduates, high school students, etc.:
- CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION ATTESTING ATTENDANCE OF DAY COURSES WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, UNTIL THE DATE OF APPLICATION IN THE YEAR PRIOR TO THE CHILD'S BIRTH OR DIPLOMA OF GRADUATION TOGETHER WITH THE GRADE SHEET OR CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY THE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION IF THE FACULTY WAS GRADUATED IN THE YEAR PRIOR TO THE CHILD'S BIRTH IF THE APPLICANT IS IN ONE OF THE ASSIMILATED PERIODS
- DECLARATION ON OWN RESPONSIBILITY THAT NO TAXABLE INCOME IS OBTAINED
In the case where the father applies for the child care and upbringing allowance, a certificate from the mother's employer specifying the period for which the maternity allowance was paid, meaning the prenatal and postnatal leave, or a declaration on own responsibility stating that the maternity allowance was not received, is also required.*
