Art. 59 of Law 196/2016
(1) In the case of families benefiting from the minimum inclusion income that includes the inclusion aid component, one of the able-bodied adult members of that family is required to perform monthly, at the request of the mayor, activities or works of local interest, with observance of the normal working time and of the occupational health and safety standards.

(2) The provisions of paragraph (1) do not apply to families for which the amount of the inclusion aid is up to 50 lei. For these, the working hours are set quarterly and can be fulfilled in any of the months of the quarter.
ART. 61
(1) In order to fulfill the obligation provided in Art. 59 para. (1) by able-bodied persons benefiting from inclusion aid, mayors have the following obligations:
a) to draw up annually a plan of actions/works of local interest, which may be revised semi-annually;
b) to keep record of the working hours performed, for the activities and works of local interest, by the able-bodied persons;
c) to ensure the persons provided in letter b) with instruction in occupational safety and health at the workplace;
d) to post monthly, at their own headquarters, the plan of actions/works of local interest for the current month, the list of beneficiaries of the minimum inclusion income, the list of persons who will carry out activities or works of local interest, as well as the situation of the activities/works performed in the previous month;
e) to send quarterly, in electronic format, to the territorial agency for payments and social inspection, the record provided in letter b).
(2) The working time duration provided in Art. 59 para. (1) is calculated in proportion to the amount granted as inclusion aid, with an hourly rate corresponding to the national minimum gross basic salary guaranteed in payment, related to the average monthly working time.
