The procedure is addressed to Romanian citizens residing abroad, who are temporarily living in Romania for obtaining the provisional identity card.
For court decisions resulting in the civil status of the holder, pronounced within the European Union area and endorsed with an enforcement order, translated and legalized copies must be presented, and for those pronounced outside the European Union area, an exequatur is required, endorsed with an enforcement order or recognition of the sentence by the competent judicial authorities.
