The professional maternal assistant is the individual, certified according to the law, who, through the activity carried out at their home, ensures the upbringing, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children placed in their care.
Persons residing in the territorial area of Hunedoara County, interested in becoming a professional maternal assistant, shall submit to the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection TULCEA an application for the evaluation of their capacity, accompanied by the documents listed below.
The certificate is issued by the Child Protection Commission TULCEA and is valid for 3 years.

The person who considers themselves wronged by the response received from DGASPC Tulcea can address the administrative court based on Law no. 544/2004.
