PROCEDURE DESCRIPTION FOR PCUe

In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Medical Assistants of Romania, as the competent authority, draws up and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife and medical assistant, in the other EU Member States.

The activities of certification of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and medical assistant in other EU Member States consist of drawing up and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and supplemented. As the case may be, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.

Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the relevant documents, are submitted through PCUe to the county branch/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT acquired membership of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.

If the applicant does not attach all the required documents or the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is required to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.

The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drawn up at the level of the specialized structure of OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
