In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse, in the other EU Member States.
The activities related to the certification of Romanian qualification titles of general nurse, midwife, and nurse, in the other EU Member States, consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and completions. As the case may be, certification documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for the professional recognition of the mentioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are sent via PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, to which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT become a member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or if the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified via the PCUe system. Within 15 days of notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not comply with the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
Recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the OAMGMAMR National specialized structure, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, they will be sent online to applicants via PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
