Procedure regarding the preparation and issuance of duplicates of study documents*

The graduate submits to the Office for completion and issuance of study documents, the request for issuing the duplicate of the lost document, accompanied by the Official Gazette of Romania, the notary's declaration, the notarized copy of the birth certificate, the fiscal stamp and 2 photographs;
The secretary within the Study Documents Office checks whether the series and number of the lost study document have been correctly published in the Official Gazette of Romania. The secretary within the Study Documents Office presents the decision, together with all documents submitted by the graduate, to the chief secretary of the University so that it may be signed by the rector/vice-rector responsible for educational activities. The secretary within the Study Documents Office receives the signed decision and the documents.
The secretary within the Study Documents Office prepares the duplicate diploma, based on the stub of the lost diploma (The duplicate diploma must be identical to the original document. If a diploma form from that period is no longer available, a duplicate is made in typescript).
The secretary within the Study Documents Office presents the duplicate diploma to the chief secretary of the University, the dean, and the rector/vice-rector responsible for educational activities to be signed. Upon issuance of the duplicate, the procedure is the same as for the issuance of the diploma.
The duplicate of the transcript/supplement to the diploma is prepared at the faculty secretariat and must be identical to the original document. After signing, it is issued at the Study Documents Office.
