The procedure presents the steps to follow and the documents that must be submitted for enrollment in the professional training program for aspiring mountain rescuers in local and county Salvamont professional training centers.
The profession of mountain rescuer can be practiced only by the certified individual who meets all the conditions stipulated in Decision no. 77/2003 regarding the establishment of measures for the prevention of mountain accidents and the organization of rescue activities in the mountains.
Information regarding enrollment and the stages of professional training for individuals, Romanian citizens, and citizens of a member state of the European Union or belonging to the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation are presented and can be viewed here
For enrollment in the professional training program for aspiring mountain rescuers in local and county Salvamont professional training centers, the applicant sends the required documents online or by mail as copies, and will present the originals before taking the certification exam. The final documents will be sent in original, by mail, to the applicant or, as the case may be, to the Salvamont service to which they belong.
