The issuance of the Occasional Practice Permit on the territory of Romania, required for the medical activity of a temporary nature by doctors who are citizens of a third country, is carried out in accordance with Law no. 95/2006 regarding the reform in the field of health with subsequent amendments and completions and with Decision no. 9/2014 of the National Council of the College of Physicians of Romaniaregarding the issuance of the permit for temporary/occasional practice of the profession for foreign doctors, amended by Decision no. 1/2015 and Decision no. 1/2017 of the National Council of the College of Physicians of Romania based on the permit issued for this purpose by the College of Physicians of Romania.
The permit is issued for a period of 3 months.
The permit is issued within 30 calendar days from the date of submission of the complete documentation.
The permit is issued in 3 copies, of which one copy will be handed to the applying doctor, one copy will be sent to the territorial college in the county where they will carry out their activity, and one copy will be filed in the applicant doctor's file.
