- The certificate of membership of the College of Physicians of Romania is issued and released by the territorial branch of the College of Physicians of Romania in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician has, as appropriate, domicile/ residence or workplace/ unit where they are to carry out their activity.
- The certificate of membership of the College of Physicians of Romania is granted upon request, to the persons provided in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official qualification title in medicine, within the meaning of art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding health reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions;
b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice as a physician;
d) have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their degree in the last 5 years.
