The procedure outlines the steps to follow and the documents that must be presented for the recognition of diplomas, certificates, or attestations specific to the occupation of mountain rescuer.

The profession of mountain rescuer can only be practiced by a certified individual who meets all the conditions stipulated in Decision no. 77/2003 regarding the establishment of measures for the prevention of mountain accidents and the organization of mountain rescue activities.

Information regarding registration and the stages of professional training for individuals, Romanian citizens, and citizens of a member state of the European Union or belonging to the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation is presented and can be viewed here

For the recognition of diplomas, certificates, or attestations specific to the occupation of mountain rescuer, the applicant sends the necessary documents online or by mail in copy, and will present the originals before taking the certification exam.

The final documents will be sent in original, by mail, to the applicant or, as applicable, to the Salvamont service to which they belong.
