The procedure sets out the method for issuing Certificates of Conformity, according to art. 36 of Law no. 200/2004, to applicants who hold diplomas/titles/certificates attesting training and professional development in the dental technician profession, obtained in Romania, who wish to practice as dental technicians in the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation.

The profession of dental technician, regulated by Law 96/2007, is included in the “List of regulated professions in Romania” from Annex no. 2 of Law 200/2004—regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania.*

Proof of payment for the issuance fee of the certificate of conformity, payment of outstanding debts, obtaining the annual visa on the membership certificate, the approval of the form of practicing the profession, and the operating authorization of the laboratory*

Proof of payment of the amount corresponding to the fee for issuing the certificate of conformity, payment of outstanding debts, obtaining/fulfilling the conditions for obtaining the annual endorsement on the back of the membership certificate, obtaining the endorsement for the form of practicing the profession, and authorization of the laboratory (as applicable). The fee charged for issuing the certificate of conformity is 400 lei and applies only to dental technicians who are not OTDR members or, as applicable, to OTDR members with a "suspended" member status.
