The present procedure establishes the way by which the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca recognizes the doctoral diploma and the doctoral degree in sciences obtained abroad. The procedure respects the principle of legality, university autonomy, transparency, responsibility, ethical and deontological norms in force.

Appeal routes
The decision to recognize or not recognize is issued, following the pronouncement of the final solution, by the Board of Administration of USAMV Cluj-Napoca.
Appeals regarding the non-recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences by IOSUD - USAMV Cluj-Napoca must be submitted within 15 calendar days from receiving the decision. The response to the submitted appeal will be communicated, within 5 calendar days, by the management of IOSUD – USAMV Cluj-Napoca. The final decision may subsequently be challenged in court.
