Procedure regarding the recognition by Apollonia University of Iași of teaching positions in higher education obtained abroad in accredited institutions of higher education abroad*

The procedure establishes the way in which automatic recognition is carried out, by Apollonia University of Iași (UAI), of teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad for individuals who apply for a teaching position within UAI, recognizing teaching positions in higher education obtained at:

a) accredited higher education or research-development institutions from a member state of the European Union, of the European Economic Area, and from the Swiss Confederation;

b) accredited higher education or research-development institutions included in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, approved/updated by ministerial order of the relevant minister;

c) accredited higher education or research-development institutions that are the subject of an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level.

The recognition of teaching positions obtained abroad according to this methodology is valid and produces legal effects only at UAI level.

In the application, all the applicant's contact details (for correspondence) must be mentioned, in order to ensure communication throughout the recognition process, with the applicant assuming responsibility for the accuracy of the declared data. The unresolved application cannot be attributed to the university in the event that the applicant does not monitor the received correspondence or does not respond in due time to requests regarding the recognition file.*

Appeal routes

The appeal submitted by the applicant will be analyzed and resolved by the UAI Senate within a maximum of 45 days from the date of registration at the university. The Senate’s decision regarding the appeal is irrevocable at the level of the Apollonia University of Iași and will be communicated to the applicant by mail at the correspondence address indicated.
