Procedure regarding the recognition of the professional qualification of dental technician obtained in third countries, in case of permanent settlement, for the purpose of access to the profession of dental technician in Romania*

The procedure is applicable in case of establishment on the territory of Romania, for professional qualifications obtained in third countries by:

a. citizens of EU, EEA, and EC member states (including Romanian citizens)

b. family members of a citizen of an EU, EEA, or EC member state

c. long-term beneficiaries of the resident status granted by one of the EU, EEA, or EC states

d. citizens of third countries, beneficiaries of permanent resident status in Romania.

Persons falling under points b, c, d shall also provide a copy of the documents attesting the aforementioned status.

The profession of dental technician, regulated by Law 96/2007, is included in the “List of regulated professions in Romania” in Annex no. 2 of Law 200/2004 - regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania.*
