The Central Unit or Territorial Branch of Land Improvement coordinates the procedural activity regarding the issuance of approvals in compliance with the legal provisions in force.

The validity period of the approval is 24 months; before this period expires, a single extension of the approval can be granted, after a written request (submitted to the issuing ANIF unit at least 5 days before the expiry date of the ANIF approval for which the extension is requested) and its field verification.

The extension of the approval will bear a different registration number from the ANIF approval issuance register and will be granted for a maximum period of 12 months; after this date, a new extension of the validity of the approval is not possible, the applicant will have to obtain, under the law, another ANIF approval.

ANIF issues the approvals within 30 days from the submission of the documentation.
