In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses from Romania, as the competent authority, draws up and issues the documents (certificates etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian
qualifications of general nurse, midwife and nurse, in the other EU Member States.

The activities of certification of the Romanian qualifications of general nurse, midwife and nurse, in the other EU Member States consist of drawing up and issuing documents, hereinafter referred to as certification documents, used by the authorities of the other EU member states, the states of the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation in order to professionally recognize these qualifications according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, as subsequently amended and
supplemented. As the case may be, the certification documents are certificates or recommendations.

Online applications for the issuance of documents necessary for the professional recognition of the above-mentioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted through PCUe to the county branch/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, of which the applicant is a member. If the applicant has NOT obtained the quality of member of OAMGMAMR, the application is submitted online through PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.

If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or it is found that the file is incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from the notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not
meet the completion deadline, upon its expiry, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.

The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be drawn up at the level of the specialized structure of the OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days from the registration of the complete electronic file, they will be sent online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they have submitted the electronic file.

MANDATORY FOR GRADUATES WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR STUDIES BEFORE 2007 - Employment record book - copy certified "according to the original" by the employer. In the case of employers from the private sector, the INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT will be uploaded electronically, accompanied by the additional documents - copies certified "according to the original" by the employer. In case the applicant cannot prove professional experience, a scanned self-declaration mentioning this must be attached. The declaration must include the name and surname, identification data, domicile, profession and the statement: "I declare on my own responsibility that I have not practiced the profession and I do not have proof of professional experience." FOR GRADUATES WHO ENROLLED IN STUDIES STARTING FROM 2007 - a scanned declaration must be attached, in which the name and surname, identification data, domicile, profession and the statement: "The undersigned..., I declare that I graduated the studies of the school/faculty ... in the year ... " must be mentioned.*

The REVISAL extract must contain the position, employment standard, start and end dates of the work period… FOR GRADUATES WHO COMPLETED THEIR STUDIES AFTER 2010 – a scanned declaration will be attached, stating the name and surname, identification data, residence, profession, and the statement ”I declare that I have graduated from the school/faculty … in the year …”.*
