This procedure describes the way in which specialists - natural persons certified as energy auditors for buildings can request the update of personal data in the database. The energy auditor for buildings carries out their activity as an independent expert, authorized natural person, or as an employee of a legal entity, according to the legislation in force and has the obligation to comply with the provisions of the code of conduct for the energy auditor for buildings. The status of energy auditor for buildings is proven by the certification issued by the competent authority. The right to practice is proven with the valid ID card issued by the competent authority at the same time as the certification.Regulated profession: The profession of certified energy auditor for buildings is found at position 12 in Annex no. 2 to Law no. 200/2004 on the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, as subsequently amended and supplemented.

Decisions regarding the profession of energy auditor for buildings may be challenged before the Romanian administrative courts, with respect for material and territorial competence, as well as the deadlines established by art. 7 and art. 10 of the Administrative Litigation Law no. 554/2004, with subsequent amendments and completions.
