This procedure describes how individuals, Romanian citizens, can apply for certification based on an examination in order to provide technical expert services in construction quality in Romania. The technical expert in quality carries out their activity in one of the following forms - as an employee of a legal entity which, according to its statute, carries out technical quality expertise activities in construction, in compliance with legal provisions - authorized, as a natural person, to conduct activities independently - employed by the investor, according to the law. The right to practice is proven by a valid license issued by the competent authority together with the certification.

Regulated professions: The profession of certified technical expert is listed at position 10 in Annex no. 2 to Law no. 200/2004 regarding the recognition of diplomas and professional qualifications for regulated professions in Romania, as amended and supplemented.
