“Professional scholarship” is a national social program addressed to all students attending vocational education and consists of monthly financial support.

Children of foreigners who benefit from a form of protection in Romania or foreigners, respectively citizens of the European Union/Economic European Area and the Swiss Confederation with the right of residence in Romania, who attend vocational education, also benefit from the “Professional scholarship”.

Vocational education students cannot benefit simultaneously from the “Professional scholarship” and the financial support granted to students within the national social protection program “Money for high school”.

At the level of the Ministry of Education, a national commission is established to monitor the granting of the “Professional scholarship”.
