The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money," through which it grants financial support to students from high schools and art and trade schools.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an effective means of information.

The beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose monthly gross income per family member, achieved in the last three months prior to the submission of the file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or who are under guardianship or curatorship in the case where the above-mentioned income condition is met.

The documents will be submitted in copy, on the condition that, at the time of application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, provided all the stipulated legal conditions are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
Besides indexing this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum threshold for granting the scholarship was also increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the need to correlate the granting threshold with the current economic situation.
