The Ministry of Education has been carrying out the national social protection program "High School Money" for over 12 years, through which financial support is provided to students from high schools and schools of arts and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the "High School Money" portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

Beneficiaries are students who are supported by families whose gross monthly income per family member, recorded in the last 3 months prior to submitting the application, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students benefiting from a protection measure or under guardianship or curatorship, provided the above-mentioned income condition is met.

The documents will be submitted in copy, provided that the applicant also presents the original documents when submitting the application.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, upon meeting all stipulated legal conditions, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to indexing this amount (from 180 lei/month), the value of the maximum threshold for granting the scholarship was also increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the need to correlate the threshold for granting support with the current economic situation.
