The course of the recognition process / Working procedure
From the university registry, the file is sent to the Vice-Rector responsible for academic management. At the proposal of the Vice-Rector responsible for academic management, the Board of Administration (CA) issues an opinion and the Senate approves the composition of the Committee for the recognition of titles/teaching positions obtained in accredited foreign higher education institutions, composed of the Vice-Rector responsible for academic management, as President, two members, teaching staff with the title of professor or associate professor (it is recommended to have a representative designated by the Doctoral Studies Council and the Director of the Quality Assurance Department), and a secretary. The secretary of the committee will be a legal adviser of the university who will check and validate the file from the point of view of the legality of the submitted documents. Along with the establishment of the recognition committee, at the proposal of the Vice-Rector responsible for academic management, an Appeals Committee will also be set up, consisting of three members, teaching staff with the title of university professor and two alternate members for the two committees. The Appeals Committee and alternate members will be endorsed/approved at the same time as the recognition committee. The recognition committee will draw up the Report regarding the acceptance/non-acceptance of the request, in which the result of the evaluation is justified. The deadline for analyzing and evaluating the file is 30 days from the issuance of the decision appointing the aforementioned committees, not including the period for appeals and their resolution. The University of Oradea, as a public higher education institution, according to legal norms, based on the Report submitted by the recognition committee, issues an opinion in the Board of Administration meeting and the Senate approves the final decision regarding the recognition/non-recognition of the teaching position.
The decision of recognition or non-recognition is issued, following the pronouncement of the final solution, by the Rector of the University of Oradea.

Appeals regarding the non-recognition of the teaching position by the University of Oradea will be submitted to the university registry within 10 calendar days from the receipt of the decision. The rejection response to the submitted appeal, related to the non-recognition of the teaching position, will be communicated by the appeals committee within 5 working days to the management of the University of Oradea, which, within 5 working days, will approve it and transmit it to the applicant. If the appeal is accepted, the report prepared by the Appeals Committee will follow the same course as the report prepared by the Recognition Committee. The failure to resolve the application cannot be attributed to the university if the applicant does not track received correspondence or does not respond within the deadline to requests regarding the recognition file.
