The purpose of the procedure is to establish the manner in which the recognition is carried out within the George Enescu National University of Arts (UNAGE) of academic teaching positions obtained at accredited higher education institutions abroad, for the purpose of occupying, for a fixed period, vacant teaching positions as associate teaching staff, participating in examination boards for filling vacant teaching/research positions, as well as for participating in boards designated for advancement exams.
This procedure applies to Romanian citizens, citizens from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens from third countries.
UNAGE is an accredited higher education institution according to legal regulations and, as such, recognizes teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions from member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and prestigious universities from other countries included in the List of prestigious universities from other countries, approved by the Order of the Minister of Education, Research, Youth, and Sport no. 3158/2012.
Teaching positions obtained at other accredited higher education institutions than those mentioned in art.4 are recognized only on the basis of an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at intergovernmental or inter-university level.

The appeal regarding the decision of non-recognition can be filed within 2 working days from its transmission to the applicant. The resolution period is 3 working days from the submission of the appeal.
The appeal is submitted to the Rectorate and is resolved by the Appeal Resolution Commission consisting of three teaching staff members other than those from the Evaluation Commission. The Appeal Resolution Commission is appointed by a decision of the rector. The decision of the Appeal Resolution Commission is final.
The appeal shall be filed only by the appellant exclusively for non-compliance with the legal procedure regarding the conduct of the evaluation process and only concerning the request for which the file was submitted.
