- The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is issued and released by the territorial branch of the Romanian College of Physicians in whose jurisdiction the applicant physician, as the case may be, has his/her domicile/residence or workplace/unit where he/she is to carry out their activity.
- The membership certificate of the Romanian College of Physicians is granted upon request, to the persons provided for in art. 376, para. (1) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and supplements, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:
a) hold an official medical qualification, as per art. 377, para. (3) of Law no. 95/2006 regarding the healthcare reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and supplements;
b) are not in any of the cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law;
c) are medically fit to practice as a physician;
d) have not interrupted their medical practice for more than 5 years or have obtained their medical degree in the last 5 years.
