County public health departments and the Bucharest municipality public health department authorize providers of home care, based on a self-declaration, who meet the following criteria:
a) the founding act/document expressly states the provision of home care as a business activity;
b) the existence of specialized personnel according to the provisions of art. 6;
c) the existence of a job description for each employee, specifying the level of professional training, competencies, and responsibilities;
d) the existence of a headquarters for the home care dispatch;
e) the existence of facilities for storing and accessing medical and communication documents specific to the field of activity.
Home care refers to any medical or related activity provided by specialized staff at the patient's home, which contributes to improving the patient's physical and mental well-being. ACCORDING TO ORDER No. 2520/2022 of August 29, 2022
