In accordance with Law 278/2015, the Order of General Nurses, Midwives and Nurses of Romania, as the competent authority, prepares and issues the documents (certificates, etc.) necessary for the recognition for professional purposes of the Romanian qualifications of general nurse, midwife and nurse in other EU Member States.
The activities of attesting the Romanian qualifications of general nurse, midwife, and nurse in the other EU Member States consist of preparing and issuing documents, hereinafter called attestation documents, used by the authorities of the other EU Member States, the states belonging to the European Economic Area and the Swiss Confederation, for the professional recognition of these titles according to the procedures provided by Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications, with subsequent amendments and completions. Where applicable, the attestation documents are certificates or recommendations.
Online requests for the issuance of documents necessary for the professional recognition of the aforementioned Romanian titles, accompanied by the corresponding documents, are submitted through PCUe to the county/Bucharest Municipality branch of OAMGMAMR, of which the applicant is a member. In case the applicant has NOT obtained the status of OAMGMAMR member, the request is submitted online via PCUe to the OAMGMAMR branch in whose territorial area the applicant resides.
If the applicant does not attach all the requested documents or the file is found to be incomplete, the applicant will be notified through the PCUe system. Within 15 days from notification, the applicant is obliged to complete the file with all the requested documents. If the applicant does not meet the completion deadline, upon its expiration, the file will be automatically closed by the PCUe system.
The recognition documents (certificates/recommendations) will be prepared at the level of the specialized structure of OAMGMAMR National, and within 90 days of registering the complete electronic file, they will be transmitted online to the applicants through PCUe by the county branch of OAMGMAMR where they submitted the electronic file.
