For authorized natural persons or legal entities who import computer programs, they are required to register all computer programs in the National Register of Computer Programs before introducing them into the commercial circuit, according to art.20 para.4 of G.O. 25/2006 republished, amended and supplemented by G.E.O. 43/2010. The registration documents must include the following:

Standard application - Form F8

Copies of documents:

- the supporting document proving the rights holder’s agreement for distribution, commercialization, and rental activities, in authorized translation, accompanied by the annex with programs

- invoice/payment order regarding the registration operation in the register.

The fees for registration operations are provided by H.G.1086/2008, as follows:

- up to 20 program titles inclusive - 50 lei/application

- between 21 and 50 program titles inclusive - 75 lei/application

- between 51 and 100 program titles inclusive - 100 lei/application

- over 100 program titles - 150 lei/application

- application for completing missing documents, following the rejection of the initial registration application - 10 lei.

Payment is made at the ORDA cashier's desk, Calea Victoriei no. 118, 5th floor, sector 1, Bucharest, or to the account RO67TREZ7015005XXX000157, opened at the Treasury Sector 1, Bucharest, CUI 4266995.
