The Ministry of Education has been running for over 12 years the national social protection program "High School Money", through which financial support is provided to students in high schools and schools of art and trades.

For students who wish to obtain this financial support, we have launched the High School Money portal, which, together with the discussion forum dedicated to this national program, represents an efficient means of information.

The beneficiaries are students who are in the care of families whose monthly gross income per family member, earned in the last 3 months prior to submitting the file, is a maximum of 500 lei, as well as students who benefit from a protection measure or are under guardianship or curatorship in case of compliance with the income condition mentioned above.

The documents will be submitted in copy, provided that, at the time of submitting the application, the applicant also presents the original documents.

IMPORTANT!

By adopting Government Decision 712/2018 (available attached), starting with the 2018-2019 school year, each beneficiary will receive monthly, for the entire duration of the courses, in case all the legal conditions provided are met, the amount of 250 lei/month.
In addition to indexing this amount (from 180 lei/month), the maximum grant threshold for the scholarship has also been increased from 150 lei to 500 lei/family member, given the need to correlate the grant threshold with the current economic situation.
