The professional maternal assistant is the individual, certified according to the law, who, through their activity carried out at their own home, ensures the growth, care, and education necessary for the harmonious development of the children they receive in placement.
Persons domiciled in the territorial area of Gorj county, interested in becoming a professional maternal assistant, submit to the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Gorj an evaluation request of their capacity, accompanied by the documents listed below.
The certificate is issued by the Gorj Child Protection Commission, having a validity of 3 years.
