This methodology establishes the manner in which the recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad, is carried out within the Gheorghe Dima National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca.

The provisions of this methodology apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries, who have obtained the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences or in a professional field, obtained abroad from accredited university institutions in member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and from prestigious universities in other countries included in the "List of prestigious universities from other states," approved by Order OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and updated periodically.
