LIMITS: The recognition by ULBS of university teaching positions obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad, obtained abroad, has legal effects only within ULBS and is granted for the purpose of:

- participating in a competition for occupying a vacant teaching position within ULBS
- participating in competition committees for filling teaching and research positions within ULBS
- participating in committees for the evaluation of doctoral theses;
- participating as a "visiting professor" in various scientific and/or teaching activities within ULBS.
- complying with the provisions of the legislation in force and the decisions of the ULBS Senate.

Appeal routes

The appeal against the Rector's decision of ULBS not to issue the recognition certificate shall be submitted to the ULBS Registry or on the PCUe platform within 15 working days from the date the applicant is notified, by means of a motivated request (attached model). Appeals are analyzed and resolved by an appeals committee appointed by the Rector’s decision, which will reassess the file and propose a solution within 5 working days from registration.

The refusal of ULBS to issue the recognition decision may be challenged under the provisions of Law no. 554/2004 on administrative litigation.
