The finding of contraventions and the application of sanctions are carried out by designated agents authorized for this purpose by the president of ANRE, according to the provisions of Law no. 123/2012, with subsequent amendments and completions.
ANRE's designated agents, depending on the severity of the identified act, may propose the following complementary sanctions: a) suspension of the status of authorized installer for a maximum period of 6 months; b) withdrawal of the status of authorized installer, with the right to attend a new examination after a period of 3 years; c) withdrawal of the status of authorized installer, without the right to attend a new examination.

The appeal against the decision to suspend/withdraw the status of authorized installer is submitted by the concerned person to ANRE, within 30 days from the date of communication of the ANRE decision.
ANRE resolves the appeal according to internal procedures, the decision being final. The ANRE decision can be challenged in the administrative litigation court, according to the law. The sanctions are recorded in the electronic register of permits.
