This procedure establishes the method by which automatic recognition is carried out by Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu-Jiu regarding the status of doctoral supervisor obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad. The procedure applies to Romanian citizens and citizens of member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the Swiss Confederation who have obtained the status of doctoral supervisor in:

- accredited higher education or research-development institutions in the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the Swiss Confederation;

- accredited higher education or research-development institutions included in the "List of prestigious universities from other countries," approved by OMECTS no. 5825/2016 and periodically updated, for the purpose of establishing it on the territory of Romania;

- accredited higher education or research-development institutions that are subject to an international mutual recognition agreement, concluded at the governmental or inter-university level.

Submitting the file:

The recognition file can also be submitted directly by the applicant to the Rectorate of the University or can be sent by mail to the address: Constantin Brâncuși University of Târgu-Jiu, 1 Republicii Boulevard, postal code 210152, Târgu-Jiu, Romania. The file is registered at the University Registry and forwarded for resolution.
