The purpose of this procedure is to implement at the internal level the Methodology regarding the automatic recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of doctor in sciences obtained in accredited higher education institutions abroad. The provisions of this procedure apply to Romanian citizens, citizens of the member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation, and citizens of third countries.

Appeal routes

The decision of recognition or non-recognition is issued, following the pronouncement of the final solution, by the Board of Directors of USAMV Iași. Appeals regarding the non-recognition of the doctoral diploma and the title of Doctor in Science by IOSUD - USAMV Iași shall be submitted within 15 calendar days from the receipt of the decision. The response to the submitted appeal will be communicated within 5 calendar days by the management of IOSUD – USAMV Iași. The final decision can subsequently be contested in court.
