Persons classified in the category of severe disability with a personal assistant have the right to be provided with the employment of a personal assistant paid by the local public authorities or to be granted a monthly allowance if they give up the employment of a personal assistant; the allowance is equivalent to the net salary of a junior social worker with secondary education in budgetary units, other than those with beds.
The social benefits and vulnerable persons service has the obligation to take the necessary measures to ensure the granting of the allowance equivalent to the net salary of a junior social worker with secondary education in budgetary units, other than those with beds, to all persons in need, classified in the category of severe disability with a personal assistant, without any discrimination.
In order to benefit from the monthly allowance, the applicant must have domicile or residence within the territory of Homocea commune.
