The air operator registers in the AEROFOTO application, available at the following link: https://aerofoto.mapn.ro/, fills in the request in digital format based on the guidance and instructions specified in the "Instructions" menu, and presses the "Submit" button. After processing the request, they will receive confirmation of approval directly in the application or will be informed about the actions that need to be taken to obtain the requested approval.

If the AEROFOTO application is unavailable, the approval request will be made by following the procedural steps below:

1. Download the request template form by accessing the following link: https://www.defense.ro/galerie/file/aviz_filmare_foto/Link_1_Formular-tip_Update.docx

2. Fill in the template form with the information specified in each individual field;

3. Send the completed form to the email address aerofoto@mapn.ro, complying with the formulation terms specified in annex no. 2 to H.G. no. 859/2021, with subsequent amendments and additions.

4. After analyzing the request, the operator will receive the requested approval or will be informed about the actions that need to be taken to obtain the respective approval.

Notes:

If the request is incomplete, applicants will be informed of the need to revise it, and the approval issuance period will begin from the moment a complete request is submitted.

The approval is valid subject to the conditions imposed by the competent authority.

The approval can be issued for a flight, for a series of flights, or for determined periods of time, not exceeding 12 months.
