Recognition of pre-university level diplomas obtained by citizens from EU Member States, EEA and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members abroad - procedure for educational institutions
This procedure applies exclusively to pre-university educational institutions (post-secondary schools) and higher education institutions in Romania that submit candidates' files for one of the study programs they run.
All requests must be accompanied by a Forwarding Note electronically signed by a representative of the institution.
The files submitted through this procedure will contain all necessary documents as presented on the CNRED web pages, respectively:
Recognition of studies for citizens of EU Member States, EEA and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members, for enrollment in post-secondary or higher education studies (bachelor’s degree)

The CNRED decision may be appealed, only once, within 45 working days from the date of acknowledgement. CNRED shall issue a decision within 60 working days. The resolution period may be extended in justified cases, with the applicant being notified in writing, by postal services or by email.
