Recognition of university-level diplomas obtained by citizens from EU member states, EEA and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members abroad – procedure for educational institutions

This procedure applies exclusively to higher education institutions in Romania that submit the candidates’ files for one of their study programs.

All applications will be accompanied by a Forwarding Note electronically signed by a representative of the institution.

The files sent through this procedure will contain all the necessary documents as they are presented on the CNRED web pages, namely:

Recognition of studies for citizens from EU member states, EEA and the Swiss Confederation and for their family members, for admission to master’s/doctoral university studies

The CNRED decision may be appealed, only once, within 45 working days from the date of acknowledgement. CNRED shall rule within 60 working days. The resolution period may be extended in justified cases, with the applicant being notified in writing, by postal services or electronic mail.
