Any holder of a driver's license issued by the Romanian authorities may request to obtain the history of sanctions applied as a result of violating traffic rules on public roads. The document can be issued: 1. Digitally, through the service HUB platform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where it is generated automatically; 2. In written form, at the headquarters of any road service within the county police inspectorates, the Traffic Brigade within the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest or the Highway Brigade, as the case may be, the applicant being required to appear in person to complete the procedure. The history of sanctions reflects all traffic violations on public roads that are active in the records of retained driver's licenses and sanctions applied to drivers of motor vehicles, agricultural or forestry tractors, or trams, kept for determined periods, depending on their nature, according to art. 4 and 5 of O.M.A.I. no. 141/2014 regarding the record of retained driver's licenses and sanctions applied to drivers of motor vehicles or trams.*
