Procedure regarding the Suspension of Membership*
The suspension of membership is done when the pharmacist, for certain reasons, wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period of time and submits a request at the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Neamt College of Pharmacists, requesting the suspension of membership.
When requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee up to the end of the year and must fulfill the condition of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for that period. The supporting documents listed below must be attached to the request.
The pharmacist undertakes to inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania within 30 days from the resumption of activity.

Procedure regarding the request for the Current Professional Certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:
In accordance with the provisions of Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008 in its consolidated form as published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 part I, as well as the Application Norms published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in cases of establishing new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of chief pharmacist - for those who will take over the position of chief), will address the county colleges for obtaining the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the borders of the country.
The methodology for drawing up and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of the C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drawn up by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college with which the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application for drawing up and issuing the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will draw up the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate shall be issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania, which will process and transmit it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will draw up a Register of records – with identification data of Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county – and will hand them over to the applicants against signature of receipt.
For the issuance of the Current Professional Certificate, a standard application form must be filled out and a fee of 100 lei must be paid into the account of the territorial college,

Procedure regarding the transfer of pharmacists from one college to another*
The transfer note, necessary for transfers between colleges, is granted to pharmacists who submit a request for this purpose.
Before issuing the transfer note, the requesting pharmacist is obliged to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college from which they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, against signature, to the applicant. In the pharmacists’ registry (https://portal.net-dd.com/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If a complaint has been registered or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated at the college from which the pharmacist is transferring, the complaint or the disciplinary file will be sent to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.

Procedure for obtaining a duplicate Member Certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate of the Membership Certificate of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit at the headquarters of the Neamt College of Pharmacists the complete documentation, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents listed below.
The fee for issuing a duplicate of the Membership Certificate of the CFR is 150 lei according to Decision no. 1/2018 of the CN of the CFR.

Procedure regarding resumption of membership*
The reinstatement of membership is done based on an application, which the pharmacist submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, namely the Neamt College of Pharmacists, requesting the reinstatement of membership starting from a certain date, and in support of the request, the documents listed below are attached.

Procedure regarding enrollment in the College of Pharmacists from Neamt county*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, upon making an explicit request, meet the following conditions: they hold an official qualification in pharmacy, are not in any cases of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit to practice the profession of pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the account of the territorial college Account Libra RO81 BREL 0002 0008 3293 0100, CIF 12664843 or at the College headquarters)
The registration fee to the College of Pharmacists of Romania is 10% of the minimum wage in the economy.
