Registration in the Romanian College of Pharmacists*
The membership certificate is granted to pharmacists who, making an express request in this regard, meet the following conditions: hold an official pharmacy qualification, are not in any case of unworthiness or incompatibility provided by law, are medically fit for practicing the profession of pharmacist, have not interrupted the practice of the profession for more than 5 years or have obtained their bachelor's degree in the last 5 years, have paid the registration fee (the fee is paid into the account of the College of Pharmacists Mures: RO73BTRL02701205106420XX opened at Banca Transilvania Tg. Mures) in the amount of 208 lei for persons who registered within 1 YEAR after graduation and 235 lei for other persons.

Resumption of membership*
The resumption of membership is made on the basis of a request that the applicant, pharmacist, submits to the headquarters of the Territorial College, or the headquarters of the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, by which they request the resumption of membership starting from a certain date.

Duplicate membership certificate*
In order to proceed with the issuance of a duplicate Membership Certificate of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the applicant must submit the complete documentation at the headquarters of the Mures College of Pharmacists, in accordance with the provisions of Decision no. 4/2004 of the National Council of the College of Pharmacists of Romania, the documents presented below.

The Request for the Current Professional Certificate*
Regarding the Current Professional Certificate, we would like to make the following clarifications:
According to the provisions of the Pharmacy Law no. 266/2008, as consolidated and published in the Official Gazette no. 448/30.06.2009 Part I, as well as the Implementation Norms published in the Official Gazette no. 538/03.07.2009 Part I, pharmacists who will hold the position of chief pharmacist in a pharmaceutical unit (in the case of establishing new pharmaceutical units, as well as changes of the chief pharmacist—for those who will take over the position), shall address the county colleges to obtain the Current Professional Certificate.
Also, this document is necessary for pharmacists who wish to practice their profession outside the country's borders.
The methodology for drafting and issuing the Current Professional Certificate was established by Decision of the National Council of C.F.R. no. 1/2007, decision published in the Official Gazette of Romania Part I no. 324 of 15.05.2007.
Below we present the main provisions of Decision no. 1/2007, as follows:
- The Current Professional Certificate will be drawn up by the College of Pharmacists of Romania and issued by the territorial college where the applicant is registered;
- The validity of the Current Professional Certificate is 3 (three) months from the date of issuance;
- Within a maximum of three days from receiving the request for issuing the Current Professional Certificate, the territorial college will send to the College of Pharmacists of Romania the standard application form for the drafting and issuance of the document;
- Within a maximum of 30 days from receiving the application, C.F.R. will draft the certificate and send it to the territorial college;
- The Current Professional Certificate is issued by the College of Pharmacists of Romania which will prepare it and send it to the territorial college;
- The territorial college will keep a Register of records—with identifying data of the Current Professional Certificates issued to pharmacists in the respective county—and will hand them over to the applicants with signature upon receipt.
To obtain the current professional certificate, the pharmacist will submit the application below and pay the fee of 100 lei into the account of the Mures College of Pharmacists: RO73BTRL02701205106420XX opened at Banca Transilvania Tg. Mureș.

Suspension of membership*
Suspension of membership occurs when the applicant, the pharmacist, for certain reasons, wishes to interrupt their activity for a certain period and submits to the headquarters of the territorial College, specifically the Bucharest College of Pharmacists, a request for suspension of membership. At the time of requesting this suspension, the pharmacist must have paid the membership fee until the end of the year and meet the requirement of continuous professional training with a number of 40 EFC hours for the respective period.
To support the requests, the documents listed below are attached.
The pharmacist undertakes that, within 30 days from the resumption of activity, they will inform the College of Pharmacists of Romania.

Pharmacist transfer*
The transfer note is issued by the college where the pharmacist is registered, based on a request. Before issuing the transfer note, the requesting pharmacist has the obligation to pay up to date the membership fee owed to the college they wish to leave. The transfer note will be handed, under signature, to the applicant. In the record register of pharmacists (https://portal.tm-c.eu/LstFarma/ColegFarm) the college to which the pharmacist has transferred will be mentioned. If a complaint has been registered against the pharmacist at the college from which they are transferring or a disciplinary investigation has been initiated, the complaint or the disciplinary file shall be sent to the college to which the pharmacist is transferring.
